It all started in the summer of 1948. What started as a cruel prank by her classmates quickly turned into a nightmare for 14-year-old miko in training Yasu Kaminaga. Just when all hope seems lost, she meets a strange smiling man named Shin who claims he's the god of the shrine.
However, danger lurks around every corner of the shrine. There is a reason it was left to the elements due to the numerous youkai who took up residence there... Will Yasu learn the secrets of the shrine and avoid a gruesome fate or will the truth die along with her?

hey nice game, i know its not ur fault i got a shitty pc from 13 years ago but those custom footsteps on the reworked version makes the girl walk square by square, so i had to replace then with the simpler "thuding" sound by renaming then to the wood and gravel footstep appropriately. It's innovative and all, but it lags on shitty toaster machines like mine. Anyway, I knew Shin was korean for being so badly mannered, so there's that. Good game, will look in your other works.

Hi! Just wanted to say that I played both the 1.0 and the 2.0 and that you made a really good job with the revision. The changes were really needed: the chase scene, the new designs, the extra scenes, made the story much more enjoyable in my opinion. Is there gonna be another game with SPOILER

Anyway good job!Long story short, yes. Senya will be playable in the direct sequel.
I had a lot of fun with this game! it's story was intriguing to me, I did miss a important part of a puzzle at one point, but that's fine. I do have one bug to point out though.
- In the final chase the enemy AI is simply programmed to follow the player, and not follow a set path, this resulted in him getting stuck on a tree and being rendered a non threat.
Still a good game and would recommend, got a three part series here, if anyone is interested in watching it feel free.

As for the Normal End... Whether or not the horned guy is actually stalking an adult Yasu or if it's just a hallucination brought on by paranoia is up to interpretation.
Remember how the horned guy told you "Kaminagas are friends, not enemies"? That's a major hint. Why would a curse god be so friendly to Yasu and not attack her at any moment? Since you refusing has you be cruel to him, you'll want to be nice to him. After that is pretty straightforward.
